We covered 3,000 km Reached 31,550 people face-to-face 2,674 Pre-registration sign-ups. According to research (Comic Relief and DOEN Foundation), 99% of kerosene users would not use kerosene if they had a GravityLight. We reached more than 357M people through earned media. And obtained 60 pieces of earned media coverage in major press outlets. We created jobs and skills through the marketing and distribution of GravityLight in Kenya (our pilot market). GravityLight was featured on important global media such as CNN, BBC, Mashable, Popular Science, Forbes, Time, Wired, Fast Company, Bloomberg, Fast Company, The Telegraph, AlJazeera, Reuters and dozens more. Bill Gates tweeted about GravityLight, “a pretty cool innovation which could be a source of cheap light in developing markets, On Facebook we racked up 350,000 video views with zero media spend.
