Who turned weapons into musical instruments?

The horrible events in Ukraine have driven everyone’s attention, and made us dream war nightmares more often. However, to feel ourselves intimidated and scared is the least we can do. All these terrifying things happen in the 21st century, and today’s society has never been more educated and conscious before. We need to speak this out loudly, and even better - to turn our words into music.

We thought that the annual Street Musician’s Day embracing more and more Lithuanian as well as foreign cities each year is a perfect platform to remind people of the power of music. History testifies that music played a significant role at wars. It has been gluing cracking societies.

The new posters born for this year's International Street Musician’s Day are the result of our teamwork. We chose an internationally perceived slogan, so that we can hand the posters to all other countries hosting the Street Musician’s Day for the free use.
