Harvey’s Program Allows Canadians to Register Their Favourite Burger for a Harvey’s Copyright
My Harvey’s Copyright lets burger lovers enjoy a new level of rewards and national fame!
TORONTO, Nov. 26, 2013 – “Copyright your burger before somebody else does!” This is the message Harvey’s launched today with its program that allows Canadians to register their unique burger combinations online with the world’s first ever burger barrister, Morley Gunn of Gunn & Associates. Users who visit myharveyscopyright.com will go through a Harvey’s copyright process that lets them build their burger by selecting every possible option – from the type and number of patties to the toppings and condiments. Burger builders will even be able to control the specific amount of each condiment.
“Canadians are passionate about their burgers and we’re excited to launch a fun initiative to give people the chance to register their favourite burger combination at myharveyscopyright.com,” said David Colebrook, Vice President of Marketing for Harvey’s. “This customization and play on ownership will give Canadians an opportunity to share their burger with all of Canada through social media and wear it proudly through the purchase of a custom t-shirt.”
There are over 5.5 million possible burger combinations available to be registered in the My Harvey’s Copyright database. When a consumer completes building and registering their burger no one can register that same burger. The owner will then receive a Harvey’s copyright number, semi-official certificate of copyright and a 10% discount off their Harvey’s orders until the end of February. They will also be prompted to share a digital version of their burger with their friends on Facebook and Twitter as a way to gain votes and increase their discount to 20%. As well, a Harvey’s burger gallery lets users check out other consumers’ creations and vote for them through the “I’d Order That” button.
Harvey’s made your burger a beautiful thing, now YOU can make it a protected thing! To register your burger, visit: myharveyscopyright.com
