In times of ever tighter public budgets, cuts are being made everywhere - unfortunately, also in the arts. This has forced the State Opera in Frankfurt to look for creative ways of drumming up additional financial support.

Philosophy/Solution


The Opera is one of the places where powerful emotions can still develop, and wonderful moments experienced which enrich our lives. The mailing delivered a little fortaste of this emotive mix in order to solicit donations from large cooperations located in the Frankfurt area.

Results


The mailing was sent to a hundred selected companies. Three of them allowed themselves to be guided by their feelings and agreed to provide the Frankfurt Opera with long-term financial support. The mailing won a Silver Caples Award and Silver at the German Dialog Marketing Award Show.
