It All Starts With Attitude

descriptioncnen
Yes, in the beginning, and in the end, it's all in the attitude:
One of the best Indian national cricket players, Hardik Pandya was the brand ambassador for Gillette India last year when Matthias Zentner shot the following spot featuring the athlete. Unfortunately, and because of the social backlash over the controversy for the borderline sexist and racist comments made in the popular Indian TV show, Hardik lost this status at the beginning of 2019.
Even though the creative work of the agency, production and post-production team eventually got punished too, as the client pulled the airing of the commercial off the screens, we thought a lot about if making it public would be the right move. As we think it would be unfair to all the artists and hard-working teams to go unnoticed, we wanted to compliment and thank them all for being a part of it.
The idea was initiated from the visualisation of an athlete life. Him coping with the dynamics and challenges of being a celebrity, mastering the sports, the stardom, rivals and press conferences professional and with ease. The looks are unique and perfectly groomed, thanks to Gillette shavers and of course, our smart, eye-catching VFX transitions.
Upbeat, instant and whimsical, ending with the attitude you are yet to achieve.
Watch the full glory of this dropped commercial here. The spot is shot by Matthias Zentner in India with Magik Lantern Films and post-produced in velvet.
