Entry Summary
Out of two normally separate boards, we constructed a single billboard in the middle of Times Square, that together rose over 120 feet above the traffic and commuters. The boards were engineered to have a protruding 3D climbing path (essentially a series of 3D extrusions, protuberances and handholds). And this structure created a fully climbable rock wall with handholds. For three days professional climbers climbed the board. In addition, we cast and trained a novice over 4 weeks, who also attempted the climb, and shot a documentary of that process.Nothing like this had ever been attempted in New York before.
